About

All that we see has reason, but everything we see does not constitute an excuse.

I love music.

Ever since I was a child, I was beating on drums and/ or singing a song. When I first started to professionally pursue the passion, it was only a hobby. Over the ten year span, it mutated from a hobby to a burden. And where Unto His Glory begins, is where my music takes pause.

In 2011, I had just moved back to Nashville, TN. Recently promoted, married and a father, I was excited about life. During just the first 3-months of the new job, I transitioned to another location, which would later empty of any opportunities of promotion or income.

I was very frustrated during this period of my life and God spoke something peculiar to me. During this time my finances were tight and I was frustrated with my new job. I intensely sought after the Lord through His Word and my family was supernaturally maintained.

Herein recedes the reason for this, for now, blog and later ministry.

As I was learning more about God in my valley, He was revealing the more about Himself. One of the passages that really stuck with me is found here in Isaiah 43:7,

Even every one that is called by My name: for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

This has been branded on my heart, written on paper and turned into wallpapers. It is the clearest and most accurate revelation to me of my purpose. Of the purpose of all called by His name. When I doubted my purpose in life because of the loss of job security, finance and musical ambition, God made it clear to me; "The purpose in the life which I have given, is unto My glory".

I seek to magnify the excellency of our God and the glory of our King through the teaching and preaching of His Word. Delivering the purpose of God closer to heart.

Enhancing His Kingdom,
E.D. Jackson Jr.
